Soon after the feeling begins amplifying, a new neighbor moves in next door - and although Xiao Zhan is instantly pulled towards him, and with inexplicable force, his new neighbor does possess a red string of his own, even if he didn't yet meet his match.Is it worth to try and defy fate? Can it even be done? Or is Xiao Zhan just making things worse for himself by wishing for someone he can't keep in the end?

“Welcome to Daytoy Interplanetary Bookstore,” Xiao Zhan rattles off as he rounds the shelves and comes face to face with his customer. His customer who is wearing a dark green jumpsuit with at least one weapon strapped to his thigh. Oh no. Oh no no no, Xiao Zhan knows of these green jumpsuit menaces.
The green jumpsuit menace takes out a badge.
“Agent Wang,” says the man, showing him the badge. “Nice to meet you.”

/per aspera ad astra/ - Latin phrase, translated as 'through hardships to the stars'. Meaning: every path towards your goal and happiness comes with some roadblocks, but it will be worth it.
Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo, throughout (and after) the filming of CQL, inevitably falling into each other without being able to stop it - and finding their own path to the stars, with the goal of keeping it after the summer ends.

Xiao Zhan is suffering. He is an accomplished journalist and photographer, now tasked with following GT World Challenge Asia to then write an exclusive report about China's newest promising racer. The only issue? Xiao Zhan doesn't have a the slightest interest in motorsports, and the racer in question keeps turning down everyone asking for interviews... at least until the two of them meet.

Xiao Zhan doesn’t know the protocol here. How to behave while being stuck in an elevator with a stranger who might or might not know who he is? He doesn’t seem to be a fan at least, which is a big relief, but Xiao Zhan should know the risks of being too naive around people since he became famous. He really should. He witnessed the result of not being properly prepared less than five minutes ago.
But before he can work himself up into a thought spiral about how to handle the situation, the boy says, “Xiao Zhan.”
Xiao Zhan does his best to not look like a deer in headlights, but instead like the approachable person that he’s supposed to be. Maybe he is a fan after all?
Or: famous idols Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo get stuck in an elevator, and do a lot of talking.
