Really, it would just be so much easier to ignore the others’ remarks. To walk away when Nagito was trying to get a rise out of him, he’d done so with others before. He’s avoided conflict numerous times, knew when to not take the obvious bait.
But something was different with the lucky student. He couldn’t place his finger on it, but the idea of not entertaining their little feud seemed—impossible.
There was something about Nagito that demanded his attention, for better or for worse.
