The problem is, she can’t remember if that’s true.An Ivy League paleobiology university student, Y/n L/n, wakes aboard the Hail Mary with fragmented memories, a cryptic warning stuffed in her pocket, and only two companions lightyears from Earth: an alien who thinks emotional breakdowns are "advanced mating rituals", and Dr. Grace, the scientist from aboard the boat she can't remember why she's wary of.
OR! Reader wakes up on board the Hail Mary with scattered memories, all of which makes her distrustful of Ryland until she learns the truth aboard the ship. She wasn't supposed to be there. Her professor was, and yet, her and Ryland are all that remains aboard the ship. Cue the investigation and feelings forming against their will!

“Shut up, or I’ll bend you into a new shape altogether,” Leo warned, following his brother’s snickering.
“Bemused scoff! I’d like to see you try—”
“There, up ahead,” Raph interrupted, his eyes having been scanning the tiki bar for Mikey.
Leo and Donnie quit glaring at one another for a moment to follow where Raph was pointing. And when they did, their eyes went from narrowed to widened at what they saw.
