He goes over for a visit, no matter the alarms that immediately follow him jumping the wall or Price and Gaz warning him to go back from their place behind the viewing glass. He’d spent years as a sniper, an assassin, a ghost on the field, but this — something so vulnerable and fragile, a peek at the childhood Simon had endured, was probably the most frightening of all.
