Summary
“I did what I had to!” Ghost roars. He hates himself enough already. He doesn’t need to be told he’s a monster. He already knows. But Johnny’s alive, and that’s what matters. They don’t listen to him. Price shoves him into a seat, far away from Soap’s whining, whimpering form. Ghost stays put because at the end of the day, he’s a good little soldier. Even as his instincts scream at him to stand by his mate’s side.

Summary
Soap gets worried when his friend in the sanctuary enclosure next to his won't come when he calls, so he does the only logical thing. He goes over for a visit, no matter the alarms that immediately follow him jumping the wall or Price and Gaz warning him to go back from their place behind the viewing glass. Surely nothing too unusual will happen during his first barrier-less meeting with Ghost, right?

Summary
“M’ not looking to publish, Price —”
“Send it, Simon,” Price insisted, that gleam turning into something entirely too serious. It was that unyielding type of faith Price had in him, the kind that made Simon think he could do impossible things. He’d spent years as a sniper, an assassin, a ghost on the field, but this — something so vulnerable and fragile, a peek at the childhood Simon had endured, was probably the most frightening of all.
And so, without having any idea of what he was doing, Simon sent it.

Summary
He gave the nurse at his door a genuine smile in thanks. “I appreciate the heads up, Janice. Now, I think it's best if you head off, is it not?”
The woman nodded, a knowing look in her eye. “Wish you luck, Doctor Riley.”
The door shut behind her, and Simon leaned back in his chair, once again kicking his feet up onto his desk. He'd always liked Janice.
