Summary

Maybe he’d been naive to think they didn’t need words between them because they never had in ten years of growing from sapling to oak and it seemed strange to want them now as if they’d always been there, but Kenma misses the drone of Kuro’s thoughts in his ear like he’d just let him crawl right into the depths of him and stay there and never ask for anything in return so Kenma would give all he had which wasn’t much, but seemed to be enough to keep the roots quenched and the trunk strong in that tree planted all that time ago.

Summary
Izuku is a science fiction writer with a bad case of writer's block. Years of rejection letters, overdue bills, and empty notebooks have buried his determination to connect with people through his prose. So, when his best friend finds a stack of his poetry and begs him to read it at a local open mic, Izuku is hesitant, to say the least. To make matters worse, Ochako cancels at the last minute, and he has to go alone.
Trapped on a quicksand couch in the middle of a cafe packed with a crowd Izuku doesn't want to face, he plans his escape. Until a tall man with stormy ocean eyes and a guitar strapped to his back walks in at the last minute and with him comes all the inspiration Izuku has ever needed.

For the first time in his life, Shouto's time is (mostly) his own, but it's not long before he's isolated himself in his studio apartment, depressed and apathetic about it.
It takes a not-so-gentle push from Fuyumi and a serendipitous moment on a green Spring day to make him realize that maybe he doesn't know as much as he thought he did.
