As a result, Shin's team experienced a devastating lost.
Shin was invited to participate in a training camp for exceptional young athletes following his recovery from surgery and completion of rehabilitation. This six-week comprehensive program offered a select group of remarkable players from across the nation an opportunity to train, acquire knowledge, and participate in sports-related events.
Shin accepted the invitation despite experiencing mental blocks and being anxious about hurting himself again. However, he wasn’t prepared to see the man that had been at the root of all of his troubles. Nor was he ready to experience a passionate rivalry on the court blossom into something new.

Summary
Higuruma did his best to be subtle about his staring, but he did enjoy tracing the odd lines and whorls of discolored scars on Nanami’s face and neck with his eyes. The most he knew was that Nanami was in an explosion of some kind. He was not a soldier, firefighter, or convicted arsonist (he’d Googled). And that whoever had done his reconstructive surgeries had either loved their job or loved the man himself with how carefully they’d put him back together.
Higuruma really wanted to know what those scars felt like, oddly enough—purely out of his own sick curiosity, of course, but he would never ask. His favorite flaw he could find was how the corner of his mouth on the left side was twisted into a permanent ghost of a smile, which hardly suited the finance professor and entertained Higuruma to no end.
