Something must have gone wrong, for the whole multiverse resets to before Mouse was born. Timelines do not go as planned, and only Dust remembers The Before. He plans to put things right, leaving the name of Dust for that time where he made mistakes. With the mantle of Moros, he takes a more active role in your life. But, again, things go wrong, and Edwina is the one to befriend Papyrus first and get her claws into the guys. Moros could fix this, or he could use it to his advantage.
You are not the same shy and non-confrontational Mouse as before. Now as a single mother, collage dropout, you struggle to keep your head above water in the new world filled with Monsters. All you want to do is to retrieve Grandma Norma's treasure buried on the property of one Sans Gaster.
