I choke on the gulp of beer so hard I'm sure it wouldn't be surprising if I died. Maybe it would be better if i died because i cant have heard that right and now im choking on beer for no reason. It takes me a minute to regain my ability to breathe properly and stop spluttering.
“Sorry, I think I didn't hear you right, what did you say?” He looks so calm and collected, no way he just suggested we kiss. Maybe I'm hallucinating. “I said that I think we should kiss.” Jesus Christ take the wheel. Maybe I hit my head during the game today and didn't notice? Would that lead to hallucinations? I'm completely lost and I think Jude can tell, at least he looks a bit sympathetic. But he also looks at me expectantly, waiting for me to say something. “Sorry, I'm still not sure I heard you right. Did you say we should kiss? As in kissing - locking lips, making out - kissing?” “Yeah, that's exactly what I said.”
