Summary
120 AC - Driftmark is mourning two children and the island is shadowed with dragons. On the shore beneath the cliffs of High Tide Castle a bastard daughter has an encounter that would change the course of her life. In the stables a boy sits himself on a dragon. During a council a family clashes and a creates a rift that will never come back together.
This is my take on the decade before the dance of the dragons, if another person from an old Valyrian family was involved. The focus lays on a character that is neither a green nor a black but both at the same time. It is a complicated romance story at first which turns into a bloody family dispute later on.
Would some compassion for one of the main antagonists of the dance of the dragons change the outcome of the civil war?

For the record, Hari Potter would like to say that she doesn't go looking for trouble, trouble just finds her all on it's own.
It was that damned pocket watch that Hari found in one of the drawers at the Black Ancestral Home. Picking it up was the last thing she remembered before her memory blacked out and she woke up dirty and bruised with the cloying taste of ash in her mouth. A newspaper (or what was left of it) held the date of May 27, 1942.
