Summary
Enter: Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, football star and nepotism baby.
The latter does not last that long, though. His family does not support him following his dreams, only theirs. When they cut him off, he doesn’t have very long before his friends are noticing and trying to help.
Some of their suggestions may be a little out there, but one of them lights a fire in his belly.
Let’s see how Robby and his roommate Dennis get along on a deeper level. How they explore each other, and what comes of it.
Good or bad.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker is not in love with his attending. That would be unprofessional. And unethical.
There is just something so divine about how the way Robby's hands feel on his shoulders, or the way Dennis feels a swell of pride in his chest when he hears, "Well done, Whitaker." Dennis is not in love with his attending, because being in love implies that his attending would reciprocate. And clearly he doesn't, because during the three month period in which Robby was on his sabbatical, Dennis could count on one hand the number of text messages that Robby had sent him. Even after the late night study sessions at Robby's apartment, or the coffee they enjoyed together. Even after a kiss, the night before Robby left. Robby may never feel the same way, Dennis is certain of it. At least not until the younger man arrives at PTMC via ambulance at three o'clock in the morning after having been attacked outside of a bar.
Dennis gets drunk, goes out to a bar, is sexually assaulted and beaten (possibly drugged-this is up to interpretation), and is transported to PTMC via ambulance. The assault scene is detailed and will have its own explicitly labeled chapter.Bookmarked by SuseK

Summary
His world shifted quickly, bright lights blurring past as he flew through a hallway. Dozens of voices shouted around him, none of which he could distinguish. A figure stood above him, frantically shouting orders to those around him. When he forced his eyes to open further, the figure slowly came into focus.
It was Dr. Robby.
Weird, Dennis thought idly, his eyes already beginning to fall shut
„Witaker! Eyes on me,” Robby’s voice shouted, startling Dennis awake.
He tried his best to open his eyes again, but his eyelids felt far too heavy. When he tried to close them again, Robby jostled him awake by shaking his shoulder roughly.
„Hey, keep your eyes open!” Robby ordered. „Do you know where you are?”
--------
In which Dennis falls victim to a brutal stabbing by a vengeful family member of a patient he couldn't save, and Robby has to nurse him back to health.

Summary
Robby sighed, attempting not to be frustrated, but it clearly showed. “I’ve known Jack for years. He’s stern, sure. He’s glared at assholes who deserve it, but he’s the most emotionally regulated guy I’ve ever worked with and ever met. He’s too contained to hate anyone.”
Whitaker swallowed hard. Robby bet that if he held his fingers to the boy’s pulse, it’d beat like a scared rabbit. “Okay?”
Robby scoffed and crossed his arms, losing all of his patience. “So what the hell happened while I was gone to make him look at you like that?”
OR
Robby returns from his sabbatical, alive and with a new attitude change, expecting the Pitt to be the same. It is, for the most part, but as the days pass by, he notices a new development—tension lingering between Dennis and Jack. And for some reason, they won’t tell him what happened when he was away.
