Summary
Lino’s eyes were warm, and as they gazed into Hannie's, he lost the ability to speak. His heart started racing. I want to kiss him. I need him to kiss me.
No, he thought, this can’t happen. This is not allowed to happen. He closed his eyes. If Lino didn’t leave soon, he’d straight out lose his mind.Sweden, 1979.
Hannie abruptly leaves his home when his parents get to know about him jerking off his best friend at a sleepover. On the way from the biblical literalist environment, Hannie lands in Villinge—a rural village where the main attraction every year is the crayfish premiere, an event that sets the whole village into a frenzy. Here he meets Lino, the unconventional shop attendant who tells Hannie he’s gay during one of their first conversations.
Even though Hannie tries everything to resist the pull of Lino, the intense summer days where he hangs out with a new friend’s group, the Crayfish Club, have their ways crossing constantly. Hannie eventually has to deal with wanting something that goes against everything he’s ever learned—sending him on a quest to find out what love and faith really means to him.

Summary
Jisung didn’t bother to ask for a name as he opened the door, expecting one of the neighbors or one of his grandmother’s friends. What he hadn’t expected was to be staring into bright red eyes above the signature black mask, followed almost instantly by the cool metal of a dagger pressing against his throat.
His eyes widened, darting over to the second person who was leaning on Lee Know. He had long-ish blond hair and freckles that likely would have looked stunningly beautiful if they hadn’t been paired with an icy blue glare that didn’t quite manage to mask the pain that the man had to be in.
“You brought me to the fucking Hans’ house?” the blond one hissed, venom in his voice.
_____________

Summary
“You're new,” Jisung proclaims.
Minho snorts. “Am I?”
“Well, I've never seen you here before.”
“Because you know all of their wedding guests?”
Jisung has to laugh. “I know most of Hyunjin’s side,” he says.
“Well obviously I’m a friend of Seungmin’s.”
Jisung pauses to stare, eyes narrowing with curiosity. “Yeah,” he plays along. “But you’re new.”
Minho chuckles. “You keep saying that. What does that mean?”
“I mean that you’re new. Here. Today. New. I’ve experienced this wedding over thirty times now and—” his breath hitches because he really just said that out loud, but there’s an immediate flicker in Minho’s eyes that has him exhaling with relief.
“Oh. Well.”
alternatively: In which Jisung gets stuck repeating the day when his best friend gets married, only to meet a brand new friendly face a month into the grueling experience.
