John Lennon has been dead for years, and Paul's sure he knows the whole of the story they shared. He lived through it, for one, and he's also spent more than a decade poring over the memories they shared together. In his view, there's nothing about their friendship he doesn't know like the back of his hand. The thought never occurred to him that, triggered by a forgotten photo from a certain 1961 Paris trip, new memories would start to come back to him—memories that would contradict his previous recollection of history in such a way that he'd begin to question the nature of he and John's entire relationship.
