Summary
My memory was fuzzy when I woke up tied to a chair on the back porch of a massive property. The bone shaped gag in my mouth and a shock collar wrapped around my neck should’ve clued me in on what was happening.
I had been kidnapped by a wealthy psycho that hunted people for fun. Sometimes giving them a quick death, other times making it slow and agonizing just for the thrill.
A part of me wishes it was a quick death. The other part hates how turned on he makes me.

Summary
Poppy is a lot like many folk in the Accord, living a dull, repetitive life as her job slowly sucks the joy out of something she's been passionate for her whole life: Making people laugh. As a clown-for-hire though her career's taken a turn for the worse, catering to awful birthday parties and being a joke hire for bachelor parties. She may have studied for years to become a pracitioner of her art, but she's hit a dead end. Following a disasterous day at work which leaves her sure she'll be fired, she suddenly finds herself staring up at one of the Affini's vessels as it declares it's here to save her planet.
Will the cheery multi-coloured plant person that's assigned to help her transition into affini society be able to reignite her passion? Will that plant person ever stop making groan worthy jokes? Will Poppy even learn what makes this mysterious plant ticks? There's only one way to find out!

Its been a year since the Terran Accord formally surrendered to the Affini Compact, and David is torn. On the one hand, fighting against the Affini Compact is the right thing to do, especially if he asked his new friends in the rebellion.
