The world of Remnant is a world of love, death, magic, and fairytale. The tales of old have become nothing but bedtime story told to children. But that is the story of Remnant, this is not, no this is the story of the Schnee family. No it's not about Willow and the bottomless pit known as alcoholism that she is in. Nor is it the story of the two daughters, one who ran to the military of Atlas, the other who ran to the crown jewel of Vale to become a huntress in a academy known as Beacon. No this story is about the youngest of the Schnee, Whitley, and his fight against his own father's cruelties committed on the faunus. Whitley will rise to become a mysterious man of many titles, The Nightmare of Atles, The Hope of Mantle, and The Vengence of The Faunus. But if you asked him which one he preferred he'd tell you one very simple name, a name that brings fear to the cold empty heart of Jacques Gelé, a name stained with the blood of hundreds, a name that when whispered in those cold mines in Atlas it lights a fire of hope in the hearts of faunus. What is this name you might ask, that name is The White Death.

Summary
Team RWBY have returned; back from the dead. A cause for celebration for some, and dread for Cinder Fall. Yet while trying to finish them off for good this time, she is dueled to a standstill amongst the desert sands of Vacuo by Jaune Arc. Yet where death should find one, it finds neither.
It should end there. Just a chance encounter.
It doesn’t.
Somehow, Jaune Arc and Cinder Fall continue to meet, and somehow, something begins to grow between them. Something that neither can hope to understand.

In 2183, 35 years after a discovery on Mars that leapt humanity forward, a team of scientists make a trip to Eden Prime to transport a newly discovered intact Prothean beacon. Doctor Cassiopeia Shepard is one of those assigned to help transport this potential scientific breakthrough. But a danger long forgotten by galactic civilization reappears and causes turmoil on the idyllic colony, with a looming greater threat overhead, she takes her life into her own hands, with dire consequences given to her decisions.
Armed with a warning of the future and a threat from the past hunting her, she'll travel through the galaxy to chase down leads alongside Commander Alenko and his team to prevent a galaxy-wide threat that has been rumored to claim species before them. She's on a race against time, she must learn to counter dangers she hasn't planned for and make choices that will stand the test of time.
