I (26M) have been dating my current partner (29M) for a year now. We don’t really fight a lot since I usually just silence him by punishing him if he gets out of line. Anyways, for our anniversary I decided to propose to him. He rejected me, he said that he wasn’t ready which is bullshit because we’ve been dating for a YEAR. I got really mad at him, and dragged him back to the car. I started yelling at him, asking him why he rejected my proposal. He started crying instead of answering my question which got me even more frustrated. I drove us back to our home after I started to calm down a bit. The next morning, I found out all his stuff was gone, and he was nowhere to be seen. I started calling his number, but he didn’t answer me. I’m trying to reach him by texting his friends, but they haven’t answered me back. Am I the asshole for getting mad at him?
