Summary
“Because there’s something that scares me even more than falling apart with you… and that’s falling apart without you in my life.”
Jeonghan and Seungcheol know each other as children, lose sight of each other, and spend years orbiting one another without daring to land.
At fifteen, Jeonghan believed he had a plan: engineering, a stable future, something that made sense. For a while, he let himself believe he could be a beta. That things wouldn’t be decided for him. Then he presents as an omega, and everything falls apart.
Engineers are alphas. Omegas don’t get field jobs. The rules are already established, and no one is interested in changing them.
So he adapts. Or tries to. Between missed opportunities, silent resentment, shared heats, dreams chased, discrimination faced, and hearts broken and rebuilt, however, somehow, they always find a way to meet again and learn a truth that was always there:
Some loves don’t disappear. They just wait.

Summary
“Who is he?” Jeonghan asked, voice almost bored.
“Transfer,” Seungkwan supplied. “Choi Seungcheol. Top grades. Probably here because his father sold a kidney to pay tuition.”
Laughter rippled around the table, soft and cruel.
Jisoo’s gaze locked with Jeonghan’s. “Angel, I dare you to make him fall in love.”
“Done,” Jeonghan said, standing with the unhurried grace of someone who knew the world would move to make space for him. He picked up his coffee, as if this was just another errand, and drifted toward the counter.

Summary
Jeonghan groaned, low and irritated, before turning his attention back to the video on his phone.
It was from one of the last shows of the tour — the shaky camera captured Seungcheol standing a bit away from the other members on stage, visibly sweaty, his shirt clinging slightly to his strong body. So far, so good. The problem was what happened next.
Seungcheol, in all his glory, slid a hand down to rest over his crotch — maybe he was just adjusting himself. Maybe he was checking if something was out of place. But Jeonghan didn’t care.
All he wanted, at that exact moment, was for Seungcheol to be in the same room as him. Jeonghan would be on his knees, Seungcheol’s hands buried in his hair, pulling and moaning his name.
Frustrated, Jeonghan tossed his phone aside and took a deep breath. Fucking hell.
He had already watched that video on loop dozens of times. Maybe Seungcheol hadn’t done it on purpose, maybe he didn’t even realize the effect it would have on anyone watching. But Jeonghan knew.
And that pissed him off. Because Seungcheol was far away. And Jeonghan was wet. Frustrated. And insanely horny. Seungcheol had him losing his mind and he didn’t even know it.

Summary
The fans noticed the distance first.
The silence during lives, the lack of eye contact, the way Seungcheol and Jeonghan suddenly stopped acting like they even knew each other. Everyone blamed schedules, stress, and another exhausting comeback season.
Nobody actually knew what happened between them.
Not the years of slowly falling in love behind closed doors, and definitely not the fights that slowly ruined everything they had.
Seven months after their breakup, Seventeen gather in Woozi’s studio to listen to Seungcheol’s new solo song.
Unfortunately for Jeonghan, every lyric sounds painfully familiar.Bookmarked by Nyxclipse
