Summary
“Hyeon-ah." Felix begins, smoothing the little one’s hair. “Papa won’t be long, baby.”
“No!” The little one’s voice is choked up, poor thing. He blinks his teary eyes at Felix and then at Chan, who gasps as if he’d been struck.
“Hey, hey, little one, it’s okay.” Chan picks him up in his arms, comforting him. “Papa’ll be home by dinnertime so we can play together, buddy. You need to keep mama company in the meantime, okay?”
Felix was prepared to deal with a flood of tears, but Hyeon surprises them once again with his unpredictable mood swings. His little face scrunches up as if he’d been terribly betrayed; he squirms until he’s set down on the floor, then runs off – or as close to running as someone with tiny legs and no real sense of gravity can manage — and hides in his room without saying goodbye to his dad.

Felix narrows his eyes. On the front sidewalk is an omega not much younger than Felix. He seems to have tripped, over one of the wooden planks of the sidewalk and knocked over his shopping bag. Chan, his overly kind alpha, is crouched down helping the young man pick up his things.
This would be just an ordinary occurrence, after all, Chan is always helping others even if he doesn’t know them, but when the two stand up, the young omega doesn’t thank him and walks away. No, Felix can hear the omega’s melodious voice thanking him profusely and moving even closer to, very attractive and very naked, Felix's alpha.
Felix’s eyebrows furrow when he sees how the young man’s gaze keeps drifting down and back up from his alpha’s face to his very full and very bare chest.
