___________Spencer Reid’s world turns upside down when he learns that he is the father of Cat Adams’ baby. All at once, everything shifts, leaving him scrambling to catch up prior to the baby’s birth and learning to care for an infinitely wonderful new human who is completely dependent on him. Suddenly, he's busy with creating a makeshift nursery, reading dozens of books on early childhood development, and interviewing nannies. Luckily, his friends are willing to help.
Then, to his slight alarm, Spencer finds himself falling for his daughter’s new nanny nearly as deeply as he's falling in love with his new daughter. Clara is bright, warm, funny, and entirely endearing; she hasn’t been living in the next room for very long when he starts to consider her to be one of his best friends, and not long after that, friendship begins to blossom into something more. Spencer isn’t the only one with skeletons in his closet, though, and as his past collides with Clara's, their situation becomes precarious. Will Spencer and his newfound family survive intact?
With so much to lose, Spencer Reid might have just met his match.
