Summary
As a kid, Mike had saved every single drawing Will had given him.
As an adult, Mike scoured art magazines for his work. He'd cut out articles and interviews about Will – cut them out and kept them in designated binders, dated by year.He thought that maybe, if he collected enough fragments of Will in those publications, he could forget. Finally fill that hole.
He had never expected Will to find out about it.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

One of my favs of all time. No joke, this fic had a vice grip on me when I was listening to it on SantaTheGrey’s Podfic.
The ship took me completely by surprise but it is one of my OTPs now, this fic converted me into a HiJack fan!!
It’s a beautiful slow burn with such good world building, relationship dynamics and just everything you could want in a fic. Literally no complaints except that I never wanted it to end.
