Summary
Three years ago when they were 22 and 25 Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton had a whirlwind romance despite everything that told them they shouldn’t.
She was just finishing up college.
He was her best friend’s brother.
One drunken night after asking for a forbidden kiss they began secretly dating which ended with a proposal that Penelope turned down, shattering Colin. He packed the next day and has spent the last three years living out of a duffle bag and traveling the world and hasn't stepped foot in London since his rejected proposal.
A lot has changed in three years and when Colin returns to London for his mother's birthday, he has to come to terms with several things and also deal with his ex-girlfriend being more integrated in his family than he is.

Summary
Colin increased his pace until he was running, pushing past Anthony who was desperately trying to corral him upstairs and to bed. If she’s not here she must be at her childhood home. That must be it. Colin finally managed to break free of Anthony’s grip long enough to swing open the front door and dash across the street. I will just have to find her myself, that is all.
Although he knows it was impolite and Anthony would be angry, he was too confused to do much more than pound on the Featherington’s door and hope against hope Penelope answers.
After a full and happy life, Colin Bridgerton breathes his last hoping to see his beloved wife again when he opens them. Instead, he wakes in his childhood room only days before Daphne's presentation at court.

Eu paguei minha língua com essa, é a primeira fanfic que colin se casa com a Marina e eu não fico realmente triste por isso. Penelope volta no tempo, não impede o casamento de Marina e Colin, a história se desenvolve a partir disso.

Penelope volta no tempo para sua primeira temporada, mesmo com medo das consequências, eventualmente ela acaba mudando alguns pontos. inclusive, despertando o próprio interesse do colin já no primeiro momento.
