Summary

Sloane, an expert on runes, has graduated from Aretia's new war college, and is sent on an undercover mission to Basgiath to gather information. Dain, playing a loyal Navarrian and ferrying information to Tyrrendor via his friend Violet, is posted there, and has promised to hide Sloane in his quarters.
That means a lot of time spent in each other's company.
