Summary

Louis had a dream, one that involved a little less bloodshed and a lot more subtlety, and it all started with winning the king’s favor. The crown was something he earned, and if it meant he’d have to get rid of the prince, well... the young boy suited his bedchambers much more anyway.

Akechi’s eyes narrow sharply. “That’s not what this is.”
“Oh… Oh really?” Akira tries not to laugh, suddenly feeling manic. “What do you call this then?” He gestures exaggeratedly to the cell, as he steps forward, up to the bars. “If not that?”
The brunet tightens his grip on his crossed arms, wrinkling the sleeves of his blazer. “You can consider this a detention of sorts. The inevitable consequence of your reckless transgressions, acting as the leader of your criminal vigilante group.”
Akira grips the iron bars separating the two of them. “You’re full of shit.”
Gloved hand over his heart, Akechi raises both eyebrows in feigned offense. “Is that any way to speak to the man who feeds you now?”
