    Summary

    A collection of missing scenes and unspoken thoughts, as Shane and Ilya stumble through denial, acceptance, heartbreak, loss, and love.

    Mostly canon-compliant and set in show-verse, with some "What If" scenarios. All works are related in chronological order, but can absolutely be read as standalones.

    Some current WIPs I plan for this series (for now):
    - What if Shane rejected Ilya in Vegas?
    - How Ilya deals with making Shane upset, over and over again.
    - Ilya and Shane reflects on their relationship after meeting Shane's parents.

    After the Tuna Melt Incident, Shane and Ilya gradually started drifting apart. Texts became more scarce, hook-ups less frequent and feelings pushed aside until, in the moment of absolute panic, Shane ghosted Ilya fully.

    Now, three years later, Shane Hollander and Rose Landry are engaged. Shane's life finally seems to be going in the right direction. No distractions, great girl, lots of hockey.

    And then the new season starts and trades between teams happen.
    And Ilya Rozanov, whom Shane promised himself to forget, is suddenly on the same team.
    And, worst of all, he becomes the Alternate Captain.
