    “Eve,” Villanelle tried again. Pathetically.

    Fuck, she wanted her so bad.

    “Eve, please.”

    And maybe the universe had taken pity on her, or maybe her nails digging into the skin of Eve’s hip bone had finally been harsh enough to wake her up, whatever it had been, the second she felt Eve stirring, her legs straightening to get the blood flowing faster through her veins, subtle noises leaving past her lips, Villanelle let out a relieved breath she didn’t know she had been holding.

    “Hmm … honey?” Eve turned to look at her over her shoulder. Her pupils still reflecting the sleep she had just interrupted. “What time is it?”

    Eve stirred slightly in the morning sun. She nuzzled farther into Villanelle’s chest, seeking just a few more minutes of blissful comfort before she woke fully.

    As she started to gain consciousness, memories from the night before flooded back to her. Images of Villanelle’s face seconds before she had kissed her the first time were followed quickly by memories of them hastily coming back to their cabin, tearing off their clothes as they stumbled into one of their bedrooms.

    It had been their first kiss, but they had been living together for eight months. Eight months since Rome. Eight months of living in this small two bedroom cabin in  Alaska together. Eight months of being in such close proximity that Eve felt like they had practically been on top of each other the whole time.

    A pure smut one shot of the morning after Villaneve finally stop dancing around their attraction to each other. A tender but teasing moment between the two.
