Summary
After retiring from the TVA, Mobius tries living on the timeline. He owns a car he’s nicknamed President Loki (Prez for short), has unlimited funds, and the freedom to spend his time however he wants. But none of it brings him joy.
But one night, when he wishes on a star and his wish come true, he starts to believe that Loki is trying to communicate with him. Is it possible to reunite with Loki through wishing, or is Mobius doomed to have his dearest wish never come true?

Loki’s heart swelled with fondness for this adorable Earth man, who’d caught his eye doing an incredible jump over a bridge on a flaming jet ski. Someone that badass was not to be ignored, and Loki had quickly found that not only was he incredibly cool, he was also unspeakably kind, divorced, and a bit of a size queen. Loki was in love.

"Loki, please, just get back to work. Who knows what’ll happen after we catch this guy, but maybe we can figure somethi-”
“Mobius, there is no ‘figuring something out’. You say you know me, but I know power. After you find this Variant, I won’t have enough to bargain with anymore. The Time Keepers won’t want me after we're done. I'm a threat. And they're right. I'll kill them at the first opportunity.”
Mobius flinched at the mental image of Loki killing the keepers, but he knew he was being honest.
Loki continued, “After we’re done, you'll get the victor's parade- ‘Oh, clever Mobius, the hero of the TVA’, and I'll turn to vapor.”
That was exactly the plan. For a moment, the gray curtain of bureaucracy lifted and Mobius saw something more than the paperwork and signatures. He saw Loki. This Loki wasn’t just a video anymore. This Loki knew his name. He was asking -or threatening- him for help. Was he really going to delete him? Could he actually do it?
