“You don’t know what I was going to ask,” Clark said with a hint of a smile. “Maybe I just wanted to congratulate you on catching the Film Freak.”
Bruce gave him a flat look.
“Or maybe I think I can help.”
“With a case of vandalism?”
Clark stepped in front of him. “It’s not vandalism and you know it, detective.”
“And what makes you say that?”
“If it were vandalism it would be something a lot more juvenile. To the point. It wouldn’t claim there were seventeen missing kids. That’s public outcry.”
“Is that so?”
“That and I tried to do a story on the growing number of homeless children last month and I got shut down. According to the last count, the numbers have been decreasing, but there’s been no change in policies, no extra funding to CPS, or shelters, or even an increase in the number of inmates in the juvenile detention center. So where are they going?”
Detective Bruce Wayne may have the highest solve rate in Gotham, but if he wants to solve this case, he’ll need the help of an elusive street kid, and while Dick Grayson always lands on his feet, he usually lands himself right into trouble.

“Dick was shot in the head.” was the first thing that met his ear when the line connected. Drake didn’t say anything else and hang up.
He didn’t get to ask. He didn’t get to process it. The next thing he knew, Jason had already zoomed through the city on his crimson Kawasaki to Gotham Central Hospital, the biggest healthcare center on West Coast, breaking every speed limit and traffic law possible.

While he’s trying to care for his brother and manage planning the Martha Wayne Foundation Gala, he comes up against his new neighbor, Slade Wilson. He just has to keep things calm until they can move back into the Manor and then it’ll all be okay. Right?
