Summary
Max decided to save Chloe and accept the town's destruction by the tornado. Following those tragic occurrences, the pair escapes from Arcadia Bay in an attempt to begin a fresh chapter in their lives. Later, Chloe's vehicle stops working and they end up stuck in a remote residence in Portland. The pair attempted to begin anew by residing in a peaceful neighborhood at Portland. However, Max started to withdraw from Chloe as a result of the guilt, fears, and trauma she had experienced. However, they will come to understand through experience that living in that peaceful neighborhood would reunite them.
Even though Max couldn't stop thinking about a question that had been lingering in her mind: Is there a possibility to rescue both Chloe and Arcadia Bay? What will be Max’s fate if she goes back to the event where she took the photo on the butterfly at the bathroom?
A Pricefield-fanfic filled with hurt, comfort, addressing Max's trauma, and her nightmares. (Who knows? Maybe I'd give them a happy ending they really deserve?)

Luke looked upward, getting one last look at the light, and one silent goodbye to Clementine.
But Clementine wasn’t ready to say goodbye. That young girl, in all her stupid bravery, had swum down into the dark, freezing water. She kicked at the walker, and Luke pulled on her jacket. He wanted to tell her to stop; to go up. Breathe again. She was too young to drown with him.
( "Luke lives" AU where Clementine manages to save him from the lake. We get a Luke vs Kenny Showdown and he is instrumental in the New Frontier and all of season 3. He and Clementine's relationship is the main focus of the story. What happens between S2 and S3 is also explored in depth. )
