Hurting himself from the Mistress' grief and madness the Doctor and Nardole track the Mistress' last companion to a stable point in her time stream and request her help with the Mistress.
Florence agrees in a heartbeat, travelling backwards with the two to help the woman she had spent most of her life with.
I'm not sure if you could read this without 'One Last Chance to be Good' but you can give it a go if you like because I honestly don't think it's much worth to read that looking back, haha!
