Now that Macaque's spirit and memories are healed, he and Wukong have agreed to try and make amends and try to rebuild their friendship. But that was never going to be an easy task. Luckily, their new friends are here to help. As long as both Wukong and Macaque are open to their help. And as long as they are able to learn how to listen to and help each other.
Aka - I'm putting Wukong and Macaque in therapy courtesy of Sandy. We're going to deal with their mutual traumas and hopefully give them a happy ending by the end of this.

Summary
Xiaotian just wanted everyone to be happy. And to do that, he made a deal with the Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin. And now? Now he's waking up from a shell of stone, being adored by his mentors that as it turned out, weren't JUST his mentors, and mostly accidentally fixing all the problems that caused cracks on the Pillar by just existing.
Watch as Xiaotian learns what was hidden from him in his first life and repairs what was broken.
Now if only he could stop getting distracted by a certain fire demon...

The Twin Serpentine Gods have been around for a long time. So long, in fact, that most people don't even remember they exist, let alone who they are or where they came from.
Kai is nothing short of frustrated. He knows full well what they are doing now isn't living. He is bored, he is lonely and he wants nothing more than to be able to reconnect with the world. But how to you make connections in a world full of people you've spent centuries resenting? How do you move forward when you can't let go of the 'what could have been?' He's not sure.
When a mysterious father-son duo come searching for the truth, he figures telling them his story is probably a good place start.
Nya is not okay with this development. She holds no fondness for humans, and would rather they not remember her existence. And while spending an eternity protecting the remaining fragments of their past isn't a particularly interesting pastime, it allows her to exist in the background and generally do whatever she wants. She has her brother. For her that's enough. Or at least that's what she tells herself
Perhaps these strangers Kai is so fond of can help convince her there is more to life than just existing
