Summary
“I’m giving you the reins,” Jack says, voice a little rough, eyes a little lost. “Want you to take complete control of me. Need you to make it quiet.” he spins his finger by the side of his head.
Robby’s breath catches in his throat, honored by Jack’s trust. Softly, he asks, “What do you want, baby?”
“Be sleazy,” Jack mumbles. “Be a little mean. Make me your…your puppy.” His tired, big eyes flick up and find Robby’s, and Robby’s heart melts. “Please.” He pulls his collar off its hook on the wall and presses it into Robby’s hand.

Summary
The trick to Jack Abbot's coffee was that there wasn't one, and Robby had learned it anyway.
At a quarter to six Robby was at the counter, hair still wet, scrub top inside-out, half-assembled for the day shift, when Jack wandered in. He had no business being awake—it was his night off—but years of working nights had worn the ordinary hours smooth in him, and he'd never quite managed to sleep through Robby's side of the bed going cold. So he got up, the way he always did the mornings he was home, to stand in the kitchen and see the man off. His coffee was waiting on the counter—black, scalding, two sugars he'd deny to his grave that he took. Robby had made it, the way Robby made it every morning Jack was home to drink it: the one with somewhere to be looking after the one without. Jack picked it up without breaking stride, the way you'd pick up your own hand. He didn't say thank you. Thank you was for strangers. He bumped his shoulder into Robby's on the way to the window and that was the whole sentence, subject and verb and object: you, here, this.
Or:
The one where Robby finds out that Jack has been receiving mail addressed to his late wife and decides to do something about it.Bookmarked by Darkfire188

Trinity is Jack and Robby's sixteen year old daughter, and she gets arrested at a party.
As she calms down a bit, she pulls away slightly to look up at him. “Are you angry?” She asks.
“Yeah.” He says out of pure honesty. “When Abba told me, I was really scared. I didn’t know if you were hurt. I see so many bad things happen to people everyday. I see teenagers die.”
“For a second, I was scared I lost my everything.”
Or, Trinity goes to jail for a few hours and it is the catalyst to her having tough conversations with both her dads, but more so Jack!
Majorly inspired by TaylorTaylorMoon's series Trinity Isabella Abbot-Robinavitch Santos!

Summary
“You're such a good boy.”
James' eyes glittered in the moonlight, looking down at her.
“Yes, you are”, Monroe said, touching James’ chest, hugging him. James blinked and a drop fell on Cress’ cheek, she didn't know if it was sweat or a tear and she wouldn't ask James.
Cress stroked his cheek and smiled, “We’ll stay with you, James, no worries.”
