Summary
Mary-Ann Elmsworth was the daughter of a doctor who had quite the good reputation, and so was entrusted with caring for Theodore Ashcombes grandfather—the man who build the Ashcombe trading business. But after a while Theodore noticed how he always looked at her whenever he got the opportunity to even without a reason. he couldn’t bring himself to look away from her and that’s when he realised something had changed within him.
