  Summary

  The only way to keep Ryland Grace alive on Erid was transfer his consciousness into something that could survive on the planet - an Eridian.
  That being said, Earth does not know this.
  So it sure is fun when a delegate of Eridians go to check that Earth hasn’t frozen over and has to explain this fact to everyone.
