She doesn’t know why Vyse is here. She doesn’t know why a murderer spends their spare time going to balls or parties or anything of the sort. What she knows is that he should be here, so, without much thinking, she herself lands here too. Without a plan.
She has to start somewhere, and figures that somewhere should probably be inside.

Ever since stumbling into June (Wigglytuff) over a decade ago, Dorian (Chatot) has been by his side though success, failure, and the daily routine of guild life. Dorian cherishes his place beside the Guildmaster more than anything, there's no doubt about that... But, then, what does that make him when the sun sets, the guildmembers hush off to sleep, and the Guildmaster retreats into his quarters for the night?
Who is the Head of Intelligence when no one's there to revere that title? Is there... even a place for him?

It’s quiet, especially so with the sound being muffled by his hands over his mouth, but I can still make out the next words when he speaks:

Grace’s initial response is only to press his hands stronger against his face. But then, he loosens them to fall over his chest, one landing over the scar on his arm.

Summary
A monologue from GLaDOS, preparing a well-lived Chell for the final chapter in her story. The last human, the last life to leave the artificial domes of Aperture. The final loose strand to heal.
1000% inspired by The Last Laugh by The_Comedy_Formula! It inspired me to contemplate Aperture, GLaDOS and Chell in such a beautiful way, which I hope I've written well enough here to share my thoughts. This is sort of an alternate end to their story.
