"It’s not that bad," Nami protested, watching beads of blood drip from her shaking fingers and fall onto the shards of glass. She realized suddenly that Robin had gone quiet and still, and glanced back up to her.
Robin was frozen, her hands half-outstretched to Nami, hovering in the air between them like she wasn’t sure whether to touch her or not. Her bottom lip was caught between her teeth, her eyes fixated on the red tracks tracing their way down Nami’s palm.
A few things seem to be off about the new crewmate. All at once, the pieces click into place… and Nami's not as afraid as she should be.
