“You okay?” Akira asked.
“Nope,” Futaba said, because honesty was easier and Akira made people honest.
Morgana made a little noise of concern.
“Yeah,” Akira agreed. “Same.”
Morgana made another noise of concern.
“Cool,” said Futaba. And then she wished fiercely for a moment that Morgana was not in the room with them, because if she didn’t tell someone about the thing she had learned she was going to explode, and Akira alone would only make it a big deal if she wanted it to be, but if both him and Morgana knew then everyone would.

Summary
Ren Amamiya couldn't not take the deal. Goro was too important to him.
As Goro Akechi realises that he is unable to deal with the consequences of Ren's actions, he finds that himself and Futaba Sakura are the only ones that have actually witnessed Ren's spinelessness. When Futaba follows him into the Metaverse on a whim, they find that they might be the only people who are able to stop the collapse of reality.
They just need to work out how...
