A sly smile appeared on his face as he started walking closer to the desk.“Yes, nothing Paxley, we are completely penniless, only a name with a pretty history-”
She stopped talking the moment he himself leaned on the desk -on her- trapping her between the desk’s surface and his body. Her emerald eyes opened wide, her gaze locked on his.
“Come on, Miss Baroque, I expected the top student of the academy to be a lot quicker” he said, as she could feel his warm breath on her face “House Baroque may have no wealth left but it still has something use your little head, go on, think” he tapped his finger on her forehead for a moment and then he smiled again.
