Vanitas, Heir of the Blue Moon, is an alchemist with a reputation that precedes him and an axe to grind. A rising author by the name Noé Archiviste is sent from Atlus to pen the infamous young noble’s biography, meaning he’ll be spending the foreseeable future by the man’s side in a land he doesn’t know, surrounded by high-society rumors and political landmines around every corner.
Which is all well and good, except for the minor detail that the entire premise is a lie.
Noé doesn’t want to do this, but the Crown has asked it of him—so here he is, pretending to write about the Heir of the Blue Moon, all the while trying to figure out the best way to assassinate him.
