Hasegawa took a deep breath through his mouth, trying to ignore the odour protruding from the room in front of him. Fidgeting with the small box in his pocket, he gently twisted the doorknob, his hands shaking.
The second he stepped inside, his entire vision turned red. His eyes were glued to the chair where Kamimura’s body was, slumped against the back of the chair, limp. Kamimura’s headless body took over the room, making it impossible for Hasegawa to look at anything else.
Hasegawa squeezed his eyes closed. He had a job to do.

Kamimura Kazutoshi has been doing this for 2 years now. What is a new addition to his life is the worst detective he's ever met insisting on being his friend. Not that it should be a big deal. She's hardly a threat to figuring out who he is, openly talks about classified information, and reportedly, has gotten every case she's worked on entirely wrong.
She's not a threat. She shouldn't be. Hasegawa Ken seems to disagree.
