Summary
Lestat wakes to a blaring alarm- his door alarm. Why does he even have an alarm? Christine or Arturo or someone had insisted on it, he has a vague memory of that. It didn’t seem worthwhile to explain that anyone unfortunate enough to break in would immediately find themselves on the wrong end of a sharp set of teeth.
His head feels as if it’s had a steel spike driven through it, the pattern of the alarm like strokes of a railway hammer. Lestat lies in the coffin and forces back the pulsing pain just enough to let him think.
“You really don’t want to do this,” he calls. His voice sounds wrecked and his mouth tastes of copper and stale peppermint. “I’m a very dangerous man.”

Summary
Daniel sighs, puts his mental notebook away, and resigns himself to another lonely evening. “No offense, but you know I’m not interested.”
Lestat smirks, doesn’t move. “I know you don’t care about having me. I also know who you do want.” His mouth twitches, and something changes in his posture; it’s a hundred tiny adjustments, the slightest straightening of his spine, an infinitesimal drop of his shoulders. He crosses his ankles and arches a brow. “Isn’t that right, Daniel.”
Of course, before he was a pianist or a rockstar or the subject of a documentary, Lestat had been a virtuosic actor. There’s no one thing Daniel could point to that’s distinctly Armand, and yet that’s who he’s seeing now, a vision of cool goldenrod eyes fixed on him, a dark halo of curls. It’s not how Louis had described his hallucinations; he knows he’s looking at Lestat, he can see Lestat, but here in front of him is Armand.
A sound that’s not quite a gulp, not quite a whine escapes him. “I-“
“Daniel.” Uncannily steady, Lestat’s voice, now. Cool, and smooth, oilcloth and silk.
Daniel shudders and fails to hide it. “That’s me.”

Summary
And now they’re here, lying in the splintered remains of the shitty motel couch, rubbing their noses together and kissing. Louis can’t stop smiling.
“We should, mm, we should get up,” he murmurs, stealing a kiss midway through and making no effort to move.
“Mmmm.” Lestat doesn’t seem overly concerned. He’s a giggly, squirmy mess, nuzzling Louis all over, mouth dragging up his throat and down again. Louis can’t remember the last time he’s seen Lestat so happy. He’s so shy too, soft and bashful, dipping his gaze when Louis says something that flusters him. He keeps levitating by accident when Louis kisses him and then apologizing, blushing and stammering, when he realizes. Louis is so violently in love he’s nauseous with it.
Louis rolls his shoulders and promptly gets jabbed in the back of the neck by a piece of sofa frame. “Ow- okay. Come on. I’ve got you,” Louis murmurs, and wraps Lestat tight in his arms and flies them both to the bed.

Summary
Lestat’s fangs pull back, the bite closes, and he sinks back in a second later, whimpering. He’s burying his nose behind Armand’s ear, inhaling hard as he drinks.
“Incense… and bergamot…” Lestat mumbles, hazy. “You always did taste like an altar offering.”
It’s probably not supposed to be a compliment, but Armand takes it as one anyway. He winds both arms tighter around Lestat and cups the back of his neck with one hand, cradling him closer. Lestat whines and bucks into his grip. He’s close now, Armand can almost taste it, so Armand sends him a last flood of memories to bring him over; the drape of Louis’s wrist over the arm of a chair, a glossy leather crop in his hand; the jut of his chin when he’s angry. Lestat’s moans pitch up and up and he pulls out of the bite, panting, and gasps, “Me, bite me, Armand, please,” and, well, who is Armand to deny him?

Summary
“This one for her?” Louis raises his chin at the editing booth.
All the breath in Lestat shudders out of him in a long great sigh. “Yes.”
Louis nods. He’s standing extremely, rigidly still, Lestat realizes, his face held in tense flat grace. He blinks; a single tear slips gracefully down his cheek. “It’s good. Hard listen, but- good.”
Lestat feels a touch of tension he hadn’t known was there fled his body. “Thank you.”
“It’s different,” Louis adds, and the smallest smile peeks from one corner of his mouth. “From your other stuff.”
Lestat huffs, not quite a laugh but not not one either. “Yes. I fear I may have to re-record the rest of the album to match.”
Louis raises his eyebrows and nods again, the way he does when he’s lost interest in the subject. “Huh.”
“What-“ Lestat stops himself. “Do you- need something, Louis?”
And Louis-
He dips his gaze, and when he meets Lestat’s eyes again, his own are wet and lost. “I need you.”

Summary
Full, full, full, so much of him, impossibly much of him, inside, filling Louis up, melting him down. In, in, until Lestat’s hilted in him and panting, shaking again. Louis moves his hips the tiniest bit up and a moan rips out of his throat entirely of its own accord. “God.”
“Louis?” Big round eyes, again, but now they’re dark and desperate, Lestat’s whole body trembling like he’s forcibly holding himself back.
“You fit me so well,” Louis says. He feels drunk. There’s a little bulge in his stomach where Lestat’s pushed in so deep he’s in Louis’s guts. Nothing in Louis’s dreams, day or night, could have prepared him for this feeling. How could he have ever forgotten? How could he have lived without this?
Lestat is whimpering, eyes squeezed shut, hips working in the tiniest shallowest thrusts. Louis clenches down viciously, just to feel him, and Lestat groans like he’s been stabbed and falls on top of him, just barely catching himself on his palms.
“Come on,” Louis goads, because he wants to see what’ll happen, he wants his Lestat, a wild beast on a chain only he holds. “Come on, baby, give it to me.”
