Wemmbu's always despised the soulmate system. It's not as romantic as everyone cuts it out to be; it's quite honestly stupid—and that's generous, coming from Wemmbu.
But the universe doesn't care about what he thinks; it never has. When Wemmbu finally discovers who his "true love" is supposed to be, he can't help but throw up a bit in his mouth. His soulmate is—and of course it has to be him—none other than Boosfer—the annoying, ragebaiting nuisance that he can hardly stand to be in the same room as.
Worse yet, as society pushes him to be in a relationship he never asked for, Wemmbu finds his eyes wandering to the infamous Flame, his literal sworn enemy.
As time goes on, Wemmbu finally comes to understand something: the universe doesn't control his fate, he does. It just takes a bit of courage to actually say something.
