“How’s this–I’ll let you teach me to use a gun if you let me tutor you in hand-to-hand.”
Dazai bit his lip, eye glued on Chuuya as he thought the offer over. On one hand, Dazai was good at recognising beneficial schemes and proposals–on the other, Chuuya knew he’d rather eat his shoe than let Chuuya teach him anything.
Eventually a loud groan filled the range, echoing off the walls as Dazai made a decision. “Fine. The slug can teach me his terribly brutish and violent ways–he better not weasel his way out of our gun sessions, though!”
Chuuya grinned, teeth on full display. This would certainly be a fun arrangement. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
Or: Dazai teaches Chuuya how to shoot a gun. Chuuya teaches Dazai how to throw a punch. Simple, right?

“Can I turn around now? You’re awfully slow,” Dazai said, rolling back and forth on the balls of his feet.
“Yeah, sure,” Chuuya replied, although he didn’t sound very sure at all. Still, that wasn’t going to stop Dazai, so true to his word, he immediately spun around.
Every single insult he had prepared got suddenly stuck in his throat.
Dazai expected Chuuya to be dressed up, but he wasn’t expecting this.
He hadn’t expected Chuuya to actually look good.
Or: Soukoku are assigned an undercover mission, and Chuuya has to dress up for it. Surely that's amazing teasing material for Dazai to use, right?

He doesn’t look at Dazai when he asks, quiet and unsure, “am I a bad person?”
Dazai doesn’t miss a beat. “That’s a very subjective question. By whose standards?”
Chuuya isn’t sure why he expected a straight answer from the guy. He runs a hand through his hair, then shrugs. “I don’t know, bastard. Everyone’s?”
“Not how it works,” Dazai states, like Chuuya’s stupid for even suggesting that.
Or: Chuuya ponders about his morality and how it's apparently changed. Dazai helps. Kind of.
