“Where the fuck have you been,” is the first thing Tomura hisses. He squats, and Dabi leans instinctively away as a hand snakes toward his forehead. Tomura’s faster, though, and the papery skin not covered by his glove is freezing. “What’s happening?” he asks then, and Dabi tries not to let the sudden concern root in his chest. “What have you done?”
“My job,” Dabi whispers.

Summary
Sukuna leans against the wall outside, face lit only by the cherry of the cigarette he’s been nursing for the last few minutes. The shadows make the tattoos on his face warp and shimmer, as though they’re dancing across his skin in the cool December air. His jawline is a knife’s edge, his fingers strong and steady as they card through his sleep-mussed hair.
This is not the first morning Megumi has watched him go through this routine. Sukuna reappeared in the turbulence of his grandfather’s passing, settling in as the Itadori alpha like he’s been there all along. Like he hadn’t fucked off for four years without a word before coming back with tattoos and piercings and a worse temper than he had when he left.
