Or: Tim Drake accidentally summons the Fright Knight. An animated suit of armor totally counts as an adult, right? Maybe he can sign Tim's permission slip.

Falling isn't so bad. Tim is familiar with falling. Scraped knees and palms. A payment to the god of gravity until you stick the trick. The nature of being a growing boy whose limbs didn't always match where he thought they should be. The falling part did not suck. Hitting things hurt.
Or Tim accidentally summons Fright Knight again, but concussed this time.

Turns out walking home from the library is dangerous in Gotham! Who knew?
Tim knew. Tim knew and stayed late anyways. Tim knew and walked alone towards the bus stop. Tim knew and now he's in a grimy Gotham alleyway, staring down a mugger.
The guy has at least a foot and probably a hundred pounds on Tim. Which is why it was so easy for him to drag Tim into an alley. He's asking for Tim’s money but all he has is his skateboard, bus pass and the ‘for emergencies only’ credit card in Jack Drake's name. Of course, that pisses off the mugger.
Or: Tim gets mugged. Fright Knight gets angry.

Tim stares down at his arm. For a moment, it does not bleed, as if the flesh is as surprised as Tim. Then suddenly, the bleeding starts. And before Dick can make it across the Cave, the flow is thick and fast. They were training. Or had been. Damian put a stop to that. The smug twist of his lips heralds what Tim knows is a rant about superiority and Tim’s lack of ability.
Dick swears, low and under his breath, as if he hopes the little ears of Bruce's blood son won't hear. “That's really deep.”
Or: Tim finds out Bruce isn't dead. Fright Knight stands in a bathroom.

“Oh.” Tim looks down at his bare foot, then back at Fright Knight. The Lord of Fear floats next to the fire escape, standing in his usual power stance as if he isn't five stories off the ground. “Hi.”
The gleam from beneath the spirit's helm is uncomfortable, especially as Tim realizes what he looks like. Missing a glove, a boot and the cape, probably covered in smears of blood.
“What transpired? Your state is… exceedingly disheveled.” That's putting it lightly and draws a laugh from Tim.

Waking up in a dirty warehouse smelling strongly of fish? Not good. Waking up feeling fuzzy and cottoned mouthed? Eh, not a first for Tim and not ideal. But he can work with it. Kidnappings, both as Red Robin and Timothy Drake-Wayne, CEO of Wayne Enterprises are old hat. But coming to tied to his little brother? Ok, we’re getting weird. Let’s up the ante and add Red Hood tied to Nightwing only a few feet away.
Tim is officially concerned. The real kicker? The masked weirdos in three piece suits drawing a giant summoning circle. Let the record state that Tim wants out and wants out now.
Or Tim gets kidnapped, and Fright Knight gets to be sassy.
