Summary
Sebastian stumbles into his Sixth Year of Hogwarts after spending the summer alone in Feldcroft, his uncle’s once cozy little home now barren and empty of the life he had destroyed. He resolves to make amends since the incident in the Catacombs, thinking that his friend no longer wants anything to do with him, but he nearly misses the small signs that all is not well with Ominis in his attempts to avoid the other.
He should have never let Ominis go back to the Gaunt Manor.

Summary
Ominis’ nightmares return after the disastrous excursion into Slytherin’s Scriptorium only to continue through his Sixth Year at Hogwarts. He tries his best to deal with them even as Sebastian seems intent on avoiding him, but some of the others start to notice him unravel and try to help.
Companion piece to “In the Shadow of Contrition” that mostly follows Ominis’ POV.
