"You, um, fly with this airline often?" the man next to him asks, as if Simon of all people looks like a frequent flyer able to afford first class instead of someone who's lucky if he can snatch a budget flight to somewhere in the Mediterranean once a year.
"All the time," Simon snarks. "How could I not? Airplanes are such perfect microcosms of the class inequality pervasive in our society. It's simply a joy to repeatedly be reminded that people like me are nothing but slaves to capitalism, only good for being exploited while the high and mighty are wined and dined in the lap of luxury."
