And she is secretly happy to come back home and have him there, waiting for her. Just the two of them. Short, fluffy story.

Jack, Head of Homeword, receives a call from Hank Landry telling him that his wife, Sam was badly injured by the Ori. He catches the first plane to the Springs and there reflects on how he secretly wants her out of the battlefield since they've got married and on a desk job but never told her. When she leaves the infirmary and they finally go to their house in the Springs for her recovery, Jack decides to have an honest conversation with her and express his fears. She doesn't take it well. They fight. She tells him she's a soldier, not a porcelain doll or a trophy wife. Things get heated. It's their first big argument since they got married.
