Summary
He notices sometimes that little pieces of him and Mark can be found within Dasom—and it’s all Jeno can ask for, really. To be able to see himself and Mark in their only child makes Jeno feel something indescribable in his chest. If he could put a name to it, he would say it’s something close to unadulterated adoration for both his husband and his daughter.

Summary
The sun blinds Mark for a bit and he rubs at his eyes with one hand, waving goodbye with the other. He tries to blink the small stars out of his eyes, but as he watches Jeno run off to his teammates (the image of how close he was to Jeno’s lips plaguing his every thought), he finds that it’s a lot harder to erase polaris when it’s already been burned into his retinas.
Or the one where Mark sort of learns how to deal with the conflicting, life or death situation that is being in love with Lee Jeno.

Summary
“Oh, you’re the best friend,” Donghyuck says.
Jeno bristles. “What does that mean?”
Jeno goes on a backpacking trip and meets Donghyuck, a mutual friend. He's obnoxious, lovely, and maybe off-limits.

Summary
The obvious would be for Mark to grow accustomed to Jeno’s presence since he was a fundamental part of it but that was exactly the problem — Jeno was everywhere — at the school slash daycare, in his friend group, in his head, in his dreams. Jeno is an extension — a representation even — of everything Mark loves condensed into 178 centimeters of sunshine, sugar, spice, and all things nice.

Summary
“I don’t want to get rid of you,” he confesses when Jeno’s head is pillowed on his lap again and his hair has dried, silky soft between Mark’s fingers as he disentangles the remaining knots. “The whole point— the entire thing was about never getting rid of you. This is… Forever, Jeno. I want to… I—” Mark seals his lips shut, lump on his throat. How great. “Sorry.”
“I know.” Jeno replies. In the safety of Mark’s room, he looks at peace, leaning his face into the tender touches. “You don’t have to say it, I know. Stupid vampire.”
“Okay,” Mark taps the mole on his nose with the tip of his finger, and Jeno’s eyes blink up at him. Stupider human, Mark would have replied back then. Not anymore, no.
(Or, five times in which Mark looks back at his relationship with newly turned vampire Jeno.)
