The first time that he meets Kim Seokjin, Namjoon is covered in fingerpaint, sweaty, and he is pretty sure one of his students has just wiped his snotty nose on his sleeve.
This is an average Tuesday in Namjoon’s kindergarten class, but if he knew he was going to be graced by the presence of a male model holding a tray of meticulously prepared bite-size snacks and another tray of cupcakes, he might have tried to at least be...clean.

“Appa!!!!!” Hee-Young vaults across the room, barreling towards her father, and Namjoon has a moment of panic watching as she lunges for him with her paint-covered hands. He moves quickly, catching Hee-Young by the waist seconds before she ruins her father’s gorgeous blue suit. Holy shit, it looks like Dior.
Or: Namjoon is a kindergarten teacher who writes raps for his students about crabs and doesn’t believe in soulmates. Seokjin is a single dad who owns a restaurant and makes the most famous lunches in all of Bangtan Elementary. Stuff happens: slowly, sweetly, easily, softly, inevitably, unexpectedly.
