Chapter Four: Dirty Little Secret
Part Three
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After talking to his brother about the demon that Ruby had told him about, this blond powerful psychopathic creature that Ruby actually seemed worried about unlike her reaction to most other demons, Sam actually got really worried about his brother. Sure, his brother was usually the one who worried but Sam was still convinced that Dean was not the same, not as strong, as he was before hell. Dean had sounded a bit weird on the phone though, like there was something going on or something wrong that he wasn't telling Sam about. It had been so subtle that if Sam hadn’t been looking for it than he would’ve missed it. But since he didn’t the younger Winchester decided that he needed to go see Dean as soon as possible.
It took a couple days to get to the bunker, though he was only guessing that's where his brother was after he had stopped at the Roadhouse and everyone claimed they hadn't seen Dean in a while now. "Dean? You here?" Sam called as he closed the bunker door behind him, "You sounded weird on the phone, and now knowing you haven’t even been at the Roadhouse in ages I just want to make sure that everything…" Sam trailed off his words as he walked down the stairs- the first thing catching his eyes was the burned devils trap at the foot of the stairs with burned footprints walking right out of it. What the hell was this? "Dean?!" Sam called a little louder, stepping forward and looking up to finally see his brother on the floor cleaning something up. It only took a second for him to realize Dean was cleaning up blood, not to mention the fact that his half-naked brother seemed to have blood smeared across his body as well. "Dude… what the fuck happened here? It looks like a goddamn massacre. Are you alright? Please tell me none of this is your blood."
Dean froze for a second when he heard the door and his brothers voice. He hadn’t seen him in a month and he comes now ? What kind of bullshit was that? Ever since he got back and Sam had started hanging with Ruby the asshat didn’t seem to give a shit about seeing him at all. If he did he would’ve found out ages ago that he stopped going to the Roadhouse. But no, Sam decided to show up now , wile there's a naked demon in his shower! There was bad luck and than there was whatever the hell this was.
He sighed and rubbed his eyes a little with his hand that wasn’t covered in chemicals or blood before responding. He was positive that right now the fact that his back wasn’t turned to his brother was his only saving grace. “Hey Sammy,” he said, standing up and tossing the scrub brush in the bucket.
“Eh, not enough to be noticable,” he answered with a shrug. At least that was true. Though right now all he could think about was that it probably would have been a good idea to look at himself in the mirror already to know what he was dealing with. He had gotten most of the mess cleaned from his chest and his shoulders but he still had the long cuts down his back from Izzy's nails. It felt like the bleeding stopped but sleeping was going to be a bitch for a few days. “I would have called for backup but uhm, it’s fine, I managed it on my own,” he said, trying to brush off the giant bloody mess. “How's the seals going?” he asked, wanting to talk about anything else. Literally anything.
It did make Sam feel a little better when Dean said not enough of this blood was his to be noticable, making the only conclusion he could come up with at the moment being that his brother must have taken out whatever was here. There was no way there could be this much blood around and Dean not having killed whomever it was. "Yeah, handled…" he said, still sounding a little unsure as he walked more into the room and closer to his brother- realizing with wide eyes as he got close to the table exactly what Dean had been fighting with.
"Demon blood?" Sam asked, not thinking twice as his fingers dipped into the blood on the table and swiped at it, gathering up a nice little bit on his fingers, "How did a demon even get in here?" He asked, having turned away from his brother for a second to look around and taste the blood off his fingers without Dean seeing that last part. Sam had to hold back a little noise, whomever the hell his brother had killed was fucking strong. He had never tasted blood as potent and strong as this before. "They've broken twenty-four of them. Don't change the subject. How did a demon get in the bunker, Dean? And what did you do with its body?"
Izzy first wrapped a towel around this long hair when he finally turned off the water and got out of the shower, letting the absorbent fabric pull the better part of the moisture out of the long locks while he dried himself off with a second towel. He did scowl at first when he looked in the mirror, noticing a mark on the other side of his neck there dark enough to rival the first one Dean left on him. Why the fuck did Dean's bites like this stay on him when nothing else did?! The man had carved the hell out of his skin with one of Izzy's knives and you couldn't tell at all so why were these here? It was frustrating as all hell to the demon. He pulled on the band shirt that Dean had left him, the hem of the shirt falling just below his bare bottom and being obviously a few sizes too big on him. Fuck it, he could make this work.
He pulled out the knife he had in one of his boots and took it to the old pants Dean had left for him, cutting them off into short-shorts first. He used the knife to cut a long strip of one of the legs to wrap around his own leg like a bandage over stab-wound from Dean. It had mostly stopped bleeding by now, but it still wasn't healed and would still be a few hours before it was. But that was just thanks to the knife, not because of Dean and he knew it. He cut another long strip of the legs of the jeans to make a makeshift belt since Dean's jeans were way too big on him and the man had ruined the belt he was wearing earlier when he ruined the pants. God, he looked so weird right now. His mismatched eyes shined back at him as he stared into the mirror, no make-up on for the first time in ages. Usually right now he would be doing his makeup but he didn't have anything here. He preferred it when he wore makeup mostly because without it... he looked even fucking younger then he usually did. He looked so goddamned innocent right now and it was really, really annoying. He ran his fingers through the long wet curls after he pulled the towel off his head, letting the locks fall around his shoulders and down his back, ending just a few inches above his ass. He needed to get it cut... it was starting to get really, really long. The longer he let it grow the easier to grab when he was in a fight and that wouldn't do.
The blond just shook his head at his reflection once more before he was pulling on his boots, the only thing about this outfit that was something normal for him to wear. Well, he owned lots of jean shorts, but the ones he had were always skin tight- form fitting, not loose like the ones he made from Dean's old jeans. He slid his knife back in its spot in his boot before wringing out his hair once more, pulling it over his shoulder as he walked out of the bathroom. "Hey Dean! How did your flannel thing fair out? Or is that ruined too? I need one of those if you expect me to leave in your clothes, I have an idea to make this actually presenta-" He stopped in his tracks completely as he came down the hall and back in the room he had left Dean in. When did someone else get here? He hadn't expected to see anyone else and he instantly tensed up, eyes moving from one hunter to the other. He could honestly only guess who the longer haired man was, he had never actually seen Sam before having done his damnedest to avoid him so he wouldn't hurt him in his frenzy to kill the bitch he was hanging out with.
He took in a deep breath to confirm his suspicions, able to smell the demon blood that was pumping inside the human's veins. Oh great, and there he was... standing next to a puddle of Izzy's blood on the table. what Izzy had the gut feeling was more potent and powerful then the demon blood that Sam was currently drinking. But wait... if Sam was here... then Ruby! He looked around the room, trying to feel if the bitch was nearby and either she wasn't close or the bunker was blocking out her scent from just outside. Wait again... why was Sam here? Did Dean call him? Did he seriously not trust him still? It was the damned older Winchester who had pointed out so clearly Izzy wasn't going to kill him so why the fuck was Sam here?! He had to make sure. Finally his eyes stopped moving and settled on the hunter that still looked oh-so fucking hot with his blood smeared across his chest and back even if it was a lot less than had been there before he went to take his shower. "Winchester, you better fucking tell me you did not call him here. Because that would just be stupid, don't ya think?"
Sammy tilted his head at the pretty blond that had just made herself known, he hadn't expected to see one of his brothers one night stands while he was here. Especially when he walked in to see Dean in this mess. "Ah, well I see you have company," he rolled his eyes at his brother, "Well at least she explains why it smells like sex in here. So who was the demon? Was it after you or her?"
Izzy could feel his hands tightening into fists at his sides, it hadn't made him so mad when Dean mistook him for a girl, but with Sam doing it- yeah- it pissed him off. Probably because he already didn't like Dean's little brother. And he would have had to be blind to not see the way that Sam's eyes kept darting to his blood on the table. He looked over at Dean, trying to remember why he didn't just kill this younger Winchester now and save himself so much goddamn drama. It would hurt the older hunter. And for some reason he still didn't want to do that. As long as Sam didn't piss him off too much… he should be able to control himself. Maybe. Hopefully?
Dean sighed when Sam didn’t let it go about a demon getting in. of course he knew what type of blood it was. He really should have seen that one coming, besides the messed up devils trap. He crossed his arms over his exposed chest and leaned against one of the far walls. He wasn’t an idiot, he had at least noticed his fingers were clean where he had touched the blood. He made a face but kept his temper in check, he had no room to be bitchy. He just wanted him out and starting a fight would not do that. “I opened the door,” he said with a shrug. What could he say? The door was fine and demons couldn’t get in, it was made to keep basically everything out or in. “I happened to run into Izrael before you called. I didn’t know he was a demon at the time,” he admitted to the other. that was the innocent part, him being stupid and not checking him but still.
“What do you mean you didn’t know? Didn’t you check him?”
“No okay?!” he snapped back, his arms unfolding as he turned his head a little, not looking at his brother. “I was stupid okay, I didn’t do any of the tests but you don’t normaly find a demon getting jumped by 20 other demons alright?” he said. He opened his mouth to speak more when Izzy shouted out to him and showed up in the doorway like he had been summoned by his name. He knew that wasn’t the case but right now it was just the worst timing ever for Izzy to not notice his brother coming in. He could tell Izzy didn’t know Sam had been here just by his body language and his gut twisted when he saw his reaction to his brother's words. Fuck. Fuuuuuuuck. This was not good. This was probably the worst way this could go. He sighed, rubbing at his forehead a little before giving his brother and Izzy one last look. Fuck it. “Sammy, this is Izrael. Izzy, this is Sam. And no I didn’t call him.” he said, talking to the blond at the end.
The younger Winchester's eyes grew wide at his brothers admitting that he hadn't actually checked the demon he had come across, he had never known Dean to be careless like that before. Even if this psychopathic one happened to be in a fight with other demons. The look just turned more confused and shocked when Dean's bunker-guest was introduced to him. This was Izrael? This was a fucking guy?! Why was a guy wearing his brother's clothes? Why was this demon alive? Why the hell dod it smell like sex in here if this wasn't some girl that Dean had brought home?! "Are you seriously explaining shit to a demon , Dean? What the fuck is going on?"
Izzy on the other hand seemed to relax the smallest of bits when Dean assured him that Sammy being here wasn't because the older hunter had called him. Dean might have a death wish fucking around with Izzy thenway he was, but he never got the feeling that he would put his brother in danger this way by putting him and Izzy in the same room. "Probably more than your fried brian could comprehend anymore," Izzy answered for the hunter, his eyes flashing a little as they settled on the younger hunter. It didn't take a genius to realize what was going through Sam's head. If this was the demon in the bunker, than the blood on the table belonged to him… and Sam wanted more. His eyes gave him away even if he was trying to ignore it right now. "But I bet if you think really hard, you can figure out some of it. Like, why we're both alive and it smells like sex in here," he crossed his arms over his chest threateningly as he stared at Sam, his eyes slowly starting to lose the white and fade into the mismatched demon eyes Dean had seen earlier.
"Dude?! Did you not hear anything I told you on the phone? What the hell is going on?!" Sam was obviously confused, not wanting to understand what Izzy was saying and think of his brother having sex with this psychotic serial killer of a demon who looked like a girl but was in fact a boy. It was especially hard to accept that when the main thought on his mind that he was trying to ignore was how much he wanted to attack that demon in front of him right now so he could drink some of his blood fresh from the source.
Dean relaxed for a second when Izzy didn’t look like he was going to murder anyone, at least right that moment. He groaned a little when the two started, rubbing his temples. “Izzy, back off," he snapped. He didn’t like the look he had wile his eyes turned. This is exactly what he didn’t want to happen. Dean gave him a hard look before turning to his younger brother. “It’s pretty obvious what happened here Sammy… for the most part.” He said. The blood was a little more hard to explain. “I ran into him twice before you called, things happened.” He said, trailing off with a hand wave. “Then you called, I set up the devils trap and waited.” He said, motioning to the red paint on the other side of the room. “Devils trap didn’t hold, a fight broke out and.. things happened…” he said, trailing off again. “And you have no room to talk with your habits with ruby.” He honestly didn’t know who was going to jump who first but he didn’t like how his brother was looking at him.
Izzy's eyes snapped to Dean when he was told to back off, a low growl coming from the little demon that probably would have made anyone else piss themselves- unfortunately Dean knew that Izzy wasn't going to actually kill him so at most it was a threat towards the older hunters brother. "Dammit, Winchester, do not tell me what to do," Izzy snapped back at him, but he did keep his eyes on the older Winchester as his arms crossed over his chest to try and keep himself calm enough from losing his temper like he had earlier. He was really trying to ignore the younger hunter in the room, but he could fucking feel the mans hungry stare and it was making it really hard to keep composure. "I'm pretty sure that's the most over-simplified description of what's been going on, like, ever," Izzy said with a little roll of his eyes.
Sam shook his head at his brother, his own hands twitching at his sides as if he were trying to hold something back. He really was. He wanted to use his own powers to keep Dean's little demon buddy in place so he could get the blond away from his brother. And in his own hands… but that was just a bonus. He didn't want this psychopath Ruby had been telling him about fucking with Dean anymore than he apparently already had. "Dean, did you miss the part where I told you even demons are afraid of this psycho? Let's ignore the fact that you're fucking a guy, which I had no idea you were into, but even after finding out what he is you're still having sex with it? Ruby said-"
"Fucking hell, either of you say that name one more time without producing the bitch I'm going to stab someone in their goddamn face!" Izzy snapped at Sam now, his eyes flashing back to the younger Winchester and he took a few feet towards him, "And if you don't stop looking at me like that I will make you regret it. You can lust after me and my blood all you want, I will slit your throat before you get a chance to come close."
Of course it was overly simplified, Sam didn’t need to know everything. Dean was going to snap back at his brother but the blond demon in the room beat him to it. Well this dumpster just caught fire.
“Oh I would like to see you try.”
“Stop it, the two of you,” Dean snapped again. He had to end this or he had a feeling this room would get bloody all over again. He had no doubts in what Izzy could do and knew he could take care of himself but it sent his blood boiling seeing that look on his brother's face. One of them had to go and he trusted that Izzy would be after ruby in a heart beat once he was out of here and then Sammy would get involved. This was a fucking mess. “Sammy you need to leave.”
“What? Why me? He has no reason to be in here in the first place.”
“You're in a room full of demon blood Sammy. You need to go, go back to that bitch if you want but I’d be blind if I didn’t see how it was affecting you.” He said, his temper showing in his voice. “Do you want to know how I found out about the demon blood? He told me.” He said, pointing at the blond. “And he’s right, it’s messing you up man.”
Izzy smirked at Sam when he said that, oh this boy was just stupid. "It wouldn't be trying, Sammy," he hissed, using the older Winchester's nick name for him, liking the way Sam seemed to get furious when the word passed his lips, "First I'll kill you, than I'll finally kill that bitch playing you."
"Ruby is right, you're probably only good for one thing. So I'm sure that you couldn't if you tried."
"Wanna bet?" He was about to pull his foot up to grab his blade hidden in his boot when Dean snapped for the two of them to stop. Stop? Why the hell would he stop when Sam was right the fuck here, basically threatening him, and that ment Ruby was somewhere without her little human protection. Why should he stop? He remembered when he looked over though and saw Dean. Right. Killing the younger Winchester would hurt this one in a way he didn't want. Besides the fact… as much as Sam was pissing him off right now, with there still being other options… killing the human now would make him feel… off. Unless he had no other choice, he still didn't want to kill humans. There was still a chance for Sam to be saved. Though that was only because no matter Dean did or said to him he hadn't been able to bring himself to kill him.
Izzy was honestly shocked when Dean told his brother he had to leave. He had honestly expected Dean to tell him to leave before he lost his temper at Sam. After all, this was Sam's home too. Izzy was an intruder in their lives. It clicked after a moment though, Dean knew if he left before the younger hunter than he would go right after the bitch Sam was fucking. Which meant that Sam was going to follow him to her the second he left too, and if he got in the way while Izzy was dealing with Ruby chances of him getting caught in the crossfire was high as fuck.
"Dean, come on. You're trusting this psychopathic demon over me? I've explained the blood to you, I'm saving people," Sam said exasperated, glaring at the blond when he snorted back laughter. "Ruby has done nothing but help us, she has given you way more reason to trust her than he ever could. Ruby was right," Izzy growled hearing her name again, Sam was really fucking pushing it and it was taking every ounce of self control he had right now not to shut the younger man up, "He's worse than any kind of demon we've come across, don't you get that? His blood is-" Sam stopped himself from talking about the blood just a bit too late. Izzy's eyes did change this time, quickly this time and the bright blue and startling green orbs stared dangerously at the younger hunter, "He's probably got you brainwashed. We don't know anything about that thing! The fact that he knew about the blood should be a big red flag that he shouldn't be trusted, Dean. How long do you think that thing was stalking both you and me before you just so happened to run into it? Think it through, man."
“Worse than any demon? Sammy he only kills demons! Ruby has been feeding you crap man!” He yelled. This was getting out of hand fast. Sam had to go, now. He turned, finally turning his back to his brother to grab something forgotten about earlier and turned back around. He flicked the safety off and shot one round into the blood soaked table. No one seemed to be listening, he was hoping this would help. “Go Sam. Before I end up shooting you both.” He said, not lowering the gun but also not pointing it at any one yet. “He’s not going to kill me, he would have by now. And if you doubt my word then go ask your demon bitch what his human body count is.” He thought that would do it, at least grab their attention enough to get it off each other. He was wrong. He tossed the gun aside when he saw Izzy reach down for his boot. “ Sammy GO!! ” He yelled as he closed the gap between him and the demon as fast as he could. He rushed him, Dean's hand grabbing Izzy’s hand as it left the boot. He didn’t tackle him to the ground but did wrap his arm around the petite blond and lifted up. He knew he only had a few moments before Izzy got the upper hand on him and hoped his luck would hold out.
He only killed demons? That just didn't make any sense and the younger Winchester had a hard time believing it, especially when Dean told him that Ruby was feeding him crap. Ruby was helping them! Why couldn't his brother see that? Why the hell was he trusting his little blond thing over him and someone who had done nothing but help them? If he could trust a demon, why would he pick the one no one knew anything about- including how to kill it- over Ruby? Was Ruby right about Dean being jealous that Sam had gotten close to someone else and trusted someone else when he went to hell?
Sam jumped back a little when his brother pulled the gun and shot the table, his wide eyes following the bullet into the pool of blood. He noticed something else on the table just then though as well. He couldn't make out the entire title at first glance, but he saw that it had something to do with demons. He could only assume it had something to do with the demon in front of him and he knew instantly he had to get that book. "He's lying to you, Dean. I don't get how you could trust him over me," Sam frowned at his brother, shifting towards the table a little trying to make it nonchalant that he was getting closer to it. Sam was taken aback again when he saw the blond leaning down to pull something out of the white boots he wore and his brother quickly tossing his gun aside and rushing towards the armed blond. Jesus christ, his brother was more suicidal than he realized! But Dean rushing towards the other demon and grabbing his wrist gave Sam the exact thing he had needed at that moment. Dean was looking at the blond now, and as his brothers arm wrapped around the waist of the demon the brightly coloured eyes left the younger hunter to see who had grabbed him- giving Sam just enough time to reach over and grab the book from the table and hide it in the waistline of the back of his pants.
Izzy's hand had shot up and wrapped around Dean's throat as he was lifted off the ground and his other wrist was in Dean's grasp. What had Dean just said about the blond not killing him?! He had gone to pull his own gun to shoot the demon that grabbed his brothers throat, not wanting Dean to fucking die because he was stupidly trusting this psycho. The demons hand gripped at the older hunters throat a bit harshly, nails digging into skin that was already bruised from his bites earlier- but once his eyes had fallen on the face of the man who had grabbed him he didn't tighten his grip anymore than that. Okay… so maybe Dean was right that Izrael didn't seem to be ready to kill him at this moment, but it was glaringly obvious that right now the same courtesy was not going to be extended to Sam if he stayed here much longer. "Fucking let me go, Winchester, before I make you," the blond growled at the older brother, twisting his wrist holding the knife out of Dean's grip, "I don't want to hurt you, but I fucking will right now."
"Alright, I'm going!" Sam finally said, holding both his hands up as he walked backwards away from the pair, partly because he wanted to make sure that Izrael didn't hurt his brother, partly so they had less of a chance to notice the book hidden on his person, and partly because it was just hard to look away from the blond. Before Dean had told him who the blond was, Sam had taken notice to the fact that the person that walked out wearing his brothers clothes was hot as hell, but to make it even harder for Sam to look and walk away from him- his fucking blood. It almost worried him how badly he wanted to take that knife from the blond and cut into his skin just so he could drink straight from the source of that potent, stronger, more addictive blood. Keyword there though, almost.
Sam did nearly run out of the bunker when the back of his ankles hit the bottom step, calling out to his brother to fucking be careful before the door to the bunker was slamming closed behind him.
Izzy's eyes had followed Sam from when he said he was leaving until the door slammed, but he didn't struggle to be let out of Dean's grasp right away. He knew if he tried he could easily break away from the hunter, but as long as Dean's grip was on him than it was easier to remember why he wasn't going after Sam this very second. Sam still had a chance to get things right. He didn't have to kill him yet. But fuck, after meeting the idiot it was harder than he imagined to let the damn boy live while still fucking with that cunt. "I'm not sorry," Izzy said bluntly, letting go of Dean's throat now and pushing himself out of the hunters grasp. "Your brother is a fucking idiot. "
Dean jaw tightened when he felt the hand on his throat but he didn’t back down. He knew if he gave in just a little and Izzy got passed him it would get very bloody very fast. He hissed a little when he felt his nails bite against his skin. He only dared a quickly glance at his brother when he heard him leave. He finally let out a breath when he heard the door slam and his grip instantly loosened on the demon. He rubbed at his throat a little when they parted, letting out a small cough. He rose an eye brow at him and let out a snort. “The last thing I’m going to do right now is look for an apology from a demon.” He said with a frown. To be honest he kinda understood with how his brother had been eyeing him the whole time. He wasn’t sure who was going to make the first move but he hadn’t been shocked Izzy had been pushed into action. Izzy seemed very into self defense and his brother had been almost drooling over him. “He’s my baby brother, I know how stupid he is ok?” He grumbled. Yea this night had been a dumpster fire on wheels. He was never going to hear the end of it from the both of them. He was up to his damn eye balls. “I’d just appreciate it if you don’t stab him alright? There is enough blood in this room already ok?”
Well at least Dean was smart enough not to expect an apology from him, he had been starting to doubt the hunters intelligence again when the man jumped between him and Sam when the demons temper had snapped. Dean had just been fucking lucky that Izzy had been able to recognize Dean was the one who grabbed him before he ripped out the throat he had grabbed. Izzy was pretty sure that he had actually really tried to keep his temper in check for Dean's sake. Maybe? Fuck, he honestly wasn't sure. He was sure that he had wanted to stab Sam in his god damn heart almost the second he had laid eyes on him… so yeah, he had to have been trying to not kill the younger hunter at first. "I knew he was stupid, but fucking christ I didn't realize how fucking stupid he was until now," Izzy growled a little, turning his back to Dean to walk over to the table and grab his jacket he had taken off earlier. Izzy pulled the jacket on before he looked back over at Dean and rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I know you don't want him dead. I can't believe he was stupid enough to try the blood of some demon he didn't know laying on the table!" Izzy snapped, waving his hand at the table. As much fun as that had been and as much as he enjoyed every second of it… of something like it were to never happen again they had to be a lot more fucking careful about Dean's stupid little brother coming anywhere near any of his spilled blood. "And now he thinks it's a good idea to want me ? Last fucking thing I need is him drinking my blood. That would only fucking help Ruby."
He huffed a little and crossed his arms over his chest, taking in a few deep breaths as he tried to calm himself down. He needed to get out of here, he didn't want to be around anyone anymore. He was over it. But he needed to be calm enough to not go after Dean's brother… he also needed to get Dean to understand the importance of Sam stopping his bullshit as soon as fucking possible without telling him why. He still couldn't bring himself to trust Dean with that bit of information. "You want me to not stab him? Fucking get him away from Ruby. They've broken twenty-four seals, Dean. If you can't get him away from that cunt by the time they get too… let's say seal sixty-four, just to be safe, then all bets are off and I'm not going to have any choice anymore. Your brother will have to die." Izzy pulled his wet hair over his shoulder, he wasn't saying it as a threat this time- but once again trying to just warn Dean about what was going to have to happen without telling him why it had to happen that way.
He hated how Izzy had a point, about the blood. He hadn’t seen his brother since finding out about the demon blood. His brother was different, it was still Sammy but the way he looked at Izzy wasn’t right. He looked at him like a glass of sparkling water in the middle of the desert. He had half a mind to follow his brother and try to kill the bitch himself. Without her his brother wouldn’t be going to hell on a road paved with good intentions and Izzy wouldn’t be itching to kill his brother. He frowned at what Izzy said, saying he had to a certain seal. He was stopping seals from breaking. It’s why he didn’t kill humans, humans weren’t the ones breaking seals. Izzy was trying to stop Lucifer from getting out. Fuck. “I’m not going to ask why you want to stop the devil from getting out but I know you mean what you say.” He said, looking at the demon with a steady gaze.
Izzy had a lot of reasons why he didn't want Lucifer to get out, and even though he had started on this path simply because Asmodues had told him to do it, the prince wasn't even on the list of reasons he wanted to stop the fallen angel from getting out. "Of course I mean what I say," he shrugged, tilting his head at Dean, "I have to go. But I'll come back eventually. Let you know what's going on with the seals and to find out what the hells going on with your idiot brother. I'll stay away from him for now, as long as he stays away from me," Izzy said solemnly, it was almost like he was promising Dean this. But like hell was the demon actually going to say the I Promise to anyone. He didn't say anything else to the hunter before he was leaving.
