Mbappé is one of now the most loved soccer players.
Almost daily people ask for his autograph. He’s an idol to many people and has grown used to it.
He can’t help but look back to the times where he’d fan over Ronaldo.
Oh how he loved that man, til this day he still idolizes him.

Mbappé sits there within the crowd watching Ronaldo play. He was invited to watch so of course he took the chance to come and watch his idol play. (He’d come either way if he was or wasn’t invited)
He observes his every movement and interactions, watching him speak with the other players, his coach, and the referee.
Mbappé really wishes he could play with him on the field… maybe next time he could, but right now he gets to watch him… Admire him from a far.

The game had finished, Ronaldo had successfully scored a few times and came out victorious with his team.
As they were heading out, Ronaldo was greeting his fans with a big smile on his face. He’s happy to see these people.
Mbappé was trying to make his way through the crowd without being noticed by other people.
“Cristiano!” Mbappé waves his hand to Ronaldo.
He immediately notices and disregards everything he was doing.
“Kylian! So nice to see you, I didn’t think you’d come!” Ronaldo greets Mbappé with a friendly hug. He looks at Kylian with such an adoring face.
It was as if the world had stopped moving… Mbappé could only just stare at him. His smile so soft… so bright.
His moment was interrupted by a shove.
“Mbappé!!!” Other fans seemed to have noticed he was here, what a total bummer for him.
Mbappé looks back up to Ronaldo “i uh- yeah, of course i’d come, Cris” He smiles softly at Ronaldo, the nickname had came out by itself.
“I’ll catch up with you later, there’s a lot of people in tonight!” Ronaldo waves while walking away, soon to disappear from the crowd of people.
Mbappé frowns a bit, but then remembers he’s also surrounded by people.

It was finally empty, most of the people had gone home and said their goodbyes.
Mbappé sits on a bench outside of the stadium.
He’s waiting for one person… Cristiano.
He thinks to himself “what if he left already…”
His bus doesn’t seem to be nearby. He looks up to the stars and starts to ponder why he’s like this.
Why he wants Ronaldo's attention, his admiration, his advice… his love…
Ever since he was a kid, he had always loved Ronaldo.
He would hang up posters of him all over his room, neatly fold the shirts he had gotten of him.
Sit in his room for hours just watching him. Copy his every move, and day dream about him.
It was almost as if he had an obsession for him.
He loved him, and now he’s able to face him, to talk to him in person… but never tell him how he truly feels.
Mbappé felt shame for how he felt for Ronaldo… He’s touched him self to Ronaldo… imagined things…

He stares at his shoes, an hour has seemed to already gone by.
It seems that Cristiano had forgotten about him. Who can really blame him? He’s got too much going on to even think about his number one fan.
Mbappé thinks it’s hopeless, this is going to lead him nowhere.
He sighs while getting up, hand in his pocket reaching for his phone.
Opening up instagram he sees Ronaldo posted already.
The post was captioned “VAMOS!!!” with a picture of his teammates.
Mbappé only looked at Ronaldo, he’s so happy. His charming smile… He wishes he was there with him, nobody else.
While heading to his car, he debates on if he should leave a message…
Whatever he had planned on sending was deleted, he sets his phone on the car holder and lets out a frustrated sigh.
“I wish Cristiano loved me more than anyone in the world.”
